** It forecasts an EBITDA hit for the first quarter to be of about 400 million Swedish crowns ($42.71 million)
** Garpenberg's production is estimated to be around 30% of the earlier guided capacity of 3.7 million tons per year, the company added
** While mining production at low levels will commence in the second quarter, production in the most affected part of the mine is not expected to resume in 2026, it said
** If losses hold, Boliden shares are on track for their worst since March 2020
