June 4 (Reuters) - Cannabis producer Green Thumb Industries GTII.CD has expressed an interest in merging with U.S.-based brewer Boston Beer SAM.N , the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing a letter sent by the company's CEO to Boston Beer founder Jim Koch.
