The Company announces that the following share purchase was made by a Director of Bowleven plc:-
John Edward Martin, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, acquired 173,913 ordinary shares in the Company on 26 August 2015 at a price of 23.25 pence per share. 
Following this transaction, John Martin's total shareholding in the Company is 173,913 shares, representing approximately 0.05% of the issued share capital of the Company as at today's date.
