Purchase of shares by Employee Benefit Trust
Bowleven announces that, today, Osiris Trustees Limited, as trustee of the Bowleven plc Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT"), purchased 2,317,282 ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at an average price of 21.577 pence per Share. 
Immediately following the above transaction, the EBT holds 2,620,177 Shares, representing approximately 0.8% of the Company's issued share capital. It is anticipated that all Shares held by the EBT will ultimately be used to satisfy the vesting of awards and options granted under the Company's share incentive arrangements.
