Bnode falls as strikes, slower Paxon momentum hit FY outlook
BUZZ-Bnode falls as strikes, slower Paxon momentum hit FY outlook ** Shares in Bnode BPOST.BR slump 10%, set for worst day since March, after the company cut its FY earnings outlook, citing strike impact and slower commercial momentum in its Paxon unit
** The Belgian postal and logistics group announced lowering its adjusted operating profit guidance to around €140 million ($161 million) (versus between €165–€195 million previously)
** The company attributes the cut to an estimated €25 mln strike impact (versus €15 mln previously anticipated) along with a slower-than-expected commercial development within Paxon, particularly in North America
** "While we already anticipated a negative outlook revision due to strikes, the slower commercial momentum at Paxon is more concerning, as new customer onboardings at Radial US remain below expectations," KBC Securities says in a note
** The broker estimates the weaker commercial momentum at the Paxon unit to have a negative impact of around EUR 20 million, partly offset by approximately 5 million euros in additional cost savings
** "We expect consensus will need to further revise their
estimates to the downside," adds KBC
** Including today's losses, the stock is down 32% year-to-date
