Bpost posts lower 2023 operating profit, does not provide 2024 profit outlook

March 1 (Reuters) - Belgian postal operator Bpost
 BPOST.BR  on Friday reported  2023 operating profit below last
year's level, but in line with both initial and reinstated
guidance.
    The group, which delivers mail and parcels and provides
e-commerce logistics, reported adjusted earnings before interest
and taxes (EBIT) of 248.5 million euros ($268.63 million) in
2023, down 10.8% from a year earlier.
    Bpost previously guided for EBIT to be 240 million to 260
million euros, and reinstated its guidance in November expecting
its EBIT of more than 240 million euros for 2023.
    Bpost did not provide a group EBIT guidance for the year
2024.
