Update on Board Changes
On 4 December 2015, the Company confirmed that Marcus Mills had tendered his resignation as Finance Director of the Company, with effect from the end of February 2016. The exact date of his departure is now confirmed as 24 February 2016.
The Company is pleased to announce that David Flatters F.C.A. has been appointed as Interim Finance Director, which is a non-board position, for an initial period of four months.
David is the former Chief Financial Officer of Moores Furniture Group Limited (a division of MASCO Corporation, a Fortune 500 company), prior to which he performed various Financial Controller roles at Moores Furniture Group Limited, NISA Today's Limited, St Ives plc and Landis + Gyr.
The recruitment of a permanent finance director is ongoing.
Commenting, Nicholas Braime, Chief Executive Officer of the Company said "the Board of Directors would like to thank Marcus Mills for the very significant contribution he has made to the Group and for the advice and help he has given throughout his time at Braime. We wish him every success in his future career".
