BrainChip Holdings  BRN.AX  surges as much as 10.8% to A$0.410,
marking their biggest intraday pct jump since June 5
    ** BRN at its highest level since June 16; set to log second
straight day of gains, if trend holds
    ** Says got U.S. patent on its "Advanced Edge Learning
Technology"
    ** Adds that patent safeguards feature of reconfigurability
in a neural processor
    ** Says portfolio now comprises 17 issued patents
    ** BRN top gainer in the ASX 200 benchmark index  .AXJO 
    ** About 11.3 mln shares change hands, vs the 30-day average
of 6.4 mln shares
    ** BRN down 50.3% this year, as of last close, vs 3.5%
increase in the ASX 200 benchmark index  .AXJO
