Australian tech stocks eye best day in nearly a month after Nasdaq jump

** Australia's technology stocks  .AXIJ  rise as much as
2.8%, posting their biggest intraday pct gain since Sept. 8  
    ** Sub-index tracks overnight gains on tech-heavy Nasdaq
 .IXIC 
    ** Nasdaq closed 2.27% higher after U.S. Treasury yields
tumbled on weaker-than-expected manufacturing data
    ** Computershare Ltd  CPU.AX  up 3.3%, topping gains on AXIJ
    ** Software co Brainchip Holdings  BRN.AX  gains 3%, while
Iress Ltd  IRE.AX  adds 3.1% 
    ** Novonix  NVX.AX  jumps as much as 3.5% before paring
gains to trade up 2.3%
    ** ASX-listed shares of Block Inc  SQ2.AX  up 1.7%, while
Administration  LNK.AX  gains 2.9% 
    ** As of last close, AXIJ down 36.7% YTD, compared with a
13.3% drop in the benchmark index  .AXJO
