BrainStorm rises as FDA panel to review ALS therapy in Sept

** Shares of cell therapy developer BrainStorm Cell
Therapeutics Inc  BCLI.O  rise ~15% to $3.40 before the bell   
    ** BCLI says an outside panel of advisers to the U.S. Food
and Drug Administration (FDA) will discuss marketing application
for co's amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) therapy  
    ** Says FDA will hold the advisory committee meeting on
Sept. 27 
    ** FDA will make a decision on the experimental therapy, 
NurOwn, by Dec. 8 this year -BCLI 
    ** Late last year, the U.S. health regulator had declined to
review BCLI's marketing application for NurOwn
    ** ALS is a rare neurological disease that affects motor
neurons, which are nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that
control voluntary muscle movement
    ** Up to last close, stock up ~81% YTD
