Wall Street's main indexes inched up on Thursday, supported by upbeat results from PepsiCo and strong economic data that pointed to a healthy consumer. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.28% at 44,378.45. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.38% at 6,287.39, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.68% at 20,871.72.
