POLITICS
Italy will scale back plans to increase taxes on
cryptocurrency capital gains, ruling politicians said on
Tuesday, following criticism from the affected industry and rows
within the party of the economy minister.

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The carmaker and Chinese battery maker CATL will invest
4.1 billion euros ($4.33 billion) to build one of Europe's
largest electric vehicle battery factories in Spain, encouraged
by lower costs and government funding.
Italy's Industry Minister Adolfo Urso announced a deal on
Tuesday to avert 249 layoffs at suppliers to Stellantis, saying
he hoped the breakthrough would help repair strained relations
with the carmaker.

The AM rating agency has raised Generali's financial
strength rating (FSR) to A+ (Superior) from A (Excellent) and
its Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating to "aa-" (Superior) from "a+"
(Excellent), with a stable outlook.

The death toll from an explosion at an Eni fuel depot near
Florence rose to five on Tuesday, as the energy company said it
was closely cooperating with investigation and that it was too
early to speculate on the causes of the accident.
BREMBO BRBI.MI
The Italian brakes maker and France's Michelin MICP.PA
signed a global "intelligent solutions" deal that will focus on
sharing real-time data between Michelin's tyres and Brembo's
braking systems to improve vehicle performance and safety.
FERRARI RACE.MI
Chief Executive Benedetto Vigna said the luxury sportscar
maker was "very proud" of a deal to supply engines and gearboxes
to a new Cadillac Formula One team in a multi-year agreement
from 2026 the company announced earlier on Tuesday.
MONRIF EDII.MI
Monti Riffeser Srl reopening of full voluntary takeover bid
on MONRIF shares continues; ends on Dec. 13.
UNIEURO UNIR.MI
Fnac Darty FNAC.PA and RUBY Equity Investment Sarl full
mandatory public tender and exchange offer on Unieuro ordinary
shares ends.
