    The Italian engineering group said on Tuesday it is aiming
for an almost 50% jump in core profit this year under a new 2033
business plan, as its shares surged nearly 14% to a record high.
    The company said it is looking to make small acquisitions,
especially in Italy and Europe, and ruled out a listing in the
near future for its energy transition unit NextChem.

    The Italian premium brakes maker offered a cautious outlook
on Tuesday, guiding for mid-single digit revenue growth this
year, in line with 2023, as geopolitical and commercial tensions
allow limited visibility on future business prospects.
