Australia's Brickworks eyes best day in nine months on strong HY results

** Shares of Brickworks Ltd  BKW.AX  rise as much as 5.5% to
A$22.99, seeing their best day since June 9 - if gains hold
    ** The building material manufacturer says it has recorded a
HY net profit of A$581 mln ($435.05 mln), an eight-fold increase
from the same period a year ago and declares an interim dividend

    ** Adds that it posted a HY revenue of A$535 mln, a 24%
increase from the prior corresponding period
    ** Shares hit highest since Feb. 9 and on track for their
second consecutive rise 
    ** Stock has fallen 11.8% this year, as of last close
