Wall Street struggled to hold on to early gains on Monday as losses in
industrial stocks including Boeing  BA.N  and Caterpillar  CAT.N  more than
offset gains in chipmakers and technology companies.  .N 
   
At 11:15 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.49 percent at
25,210.78. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.17 percent at 2,781.9 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.17 percent at 7,573.327.
