HK's financial group Bright Smart hits over 2-yr high on higher profit, dividend

** Shares of financial services provider Bright Smart
Securities & Commodities Group Ltd  1428.HK  rise as much as
21.2% to HK$1.60, their highest since May 2018 
    ** The stock later trims gains to HK$1.55, still up 17.4%,
heading for biggest intraday pct gain since Jan. 23
    ** Stock ranks the tenth biggest percentage gainer among all
listed companies on the Hong Kong bourse 
    ** Co posts a 6.8% rise in net profit for year ended March,
versus year-ago period  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2E60KN
    ** Co proposes to pay a final dividend of HK$0.28 and a
special dividend of HK$0.80 per share. That compares with last
year's final dividend of HK$0.078 per share with no special
dividend 
    ** By last close, stock had surged 54.6% this year
    ** Bright Smart has outperformed the Hang Seng Finance Index
sector  .HSNF  by 36.1 percentage points in the last month
    ** The Hang Seng Finance Index  .HSNF  gains 0.6%, and the 
benchmark index  .HSI  rises 0.9%
