NZ's Briscoe Group gains on strong FY results

** Shares of retail chain Briscoe Group Ltd  BGP.NZ  rise as
much as 4.9% to NZ$5.77, their highest since March 4
    ** Co says its FY net profit from continuing operations has
risen 17% to NZ$73.2 mln ($52.72 mln) and revenue up 7.5% to
NZ$701.8 mln from previous reporting period
    ** BGP declared a final dividend of 13.50 NZ cents per share
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday pct gain since March 2
    ** BGP is up 4.8% this year, as of last close
($1 = 1.3885 New Zealand dollars)
