NZ's Briscoe Group hits near 1-mnth high on FY outlook

** Shares of Briscoe Group  BGP.NZ  rise as much as 2.1% to
NZ$5.46 - hits highest level since Aug 19 
    ** The retail chain says "optimistic" of full year net
profit after tax being higher than last year's NZ$87.91 million

    ** Says "believe there are significant opportunities
throughout H2 for group"  
    ** Co posts total half-year revenue of NZ$367.9 mln, up 2.7%
year-on-year; declares interim dividend of 12 NZ cents
    ** More than 18,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 9,000 
    ** Stock unchanged so far this year, as of last close
