Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging

On 31 March 2023 the independent Trustee of the British American Tobacco Group
Employee Trust released the following number of British American Tobacco
p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the "Shares") granted to the following Executive
Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities under the 2020
Deferred Share Bonus Scheme ("2020 Award"). Subsequent sales of shares are
