In conformity with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules' ongoing disclosure requirements for issuers, The British Land Company PLC (the 'Company') notifies the market of the following:
As of 30 November 2017 the Company's issued share capital consists of 1,015,472,871 ordinary shares of 25 pence each of which 11,266,245 are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 1,004,206,626.
The above figure of 1,004,206,626 may be used by shareholders and others for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify the Company and the FCA of the percentage of voting rights they hold, or a change in this percentage, under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
