SOFIA, Dec 21 (Reuters) -
Bulgarian nuclear power plant Kozloduy will sign a contract on
Thursday with Westinghouse Electric Sweden to supply it with
fresh nuclear fuel for its 1,000 megawatt Unit 5 Russian-made
reactor, the plant said on Wednesday.
The deal will allow the plant to diversify its nuclear fuel
supplies from Russia. Kozloduy also said it was preparing to
sign a similar agreement with French group Framatome, a unit of
EDF EDF.PA , for its other 1,000 megawatt Unit 6.
