** Shares of oil and gas explorer Brookside Energy  BRK.AX 
jump as much as 12.5% to A$0.014, marking their biggest intraday
pct jump since May 15 
    ** BRK says produced its one millionth barrel of oil
equivalent (BOE) less than two years since its first operated
well came into production
    ** Production has seen sharp acceleration in recent
quarters, BRK says
    ** Stock hits highest level since July 3
    ** More than 22.6 mln shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average volume of ~8.1 mln shares
    ** Stock up 9.1% YTD, as of last close
