ECONOMY
Italy plans to raise almost €11 billion ($12.33 billion) from the financial sector to help fund its budget over the 2027-2029 period, a government document showed on Thursday.
Chinese automakers looking to expand production capacity in Europe have ruled out Italy because of a lack of suitable factories, Italian industry minister Adolfo Urso said on Wednesday.

A Qatari fund linked to the Al Thani family approached U.S. fund Oaktree, which owns the Italian football club, about acquiring a stake in the club, Italian daily Il Messaggero reported on Thursday. Oaktree declined to comment, the newspaper added.
