POLITICS
Russia's latest strikes on Kyiv show that it is not interested in negotiating an end to the war in Ukraine, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Thursday, while Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said the conflict was unlikely to end this year.

ISTAT releases Q2 GDP final data (0800 GMT); August CPI flash data (0900 GMT).

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The Franco-Italian automaker signed a deal with unions on Thursday to extend for five months a reduced-working-hours scheme for employees at its historic Mirafiori plant in northern Italy.
BRUNELLO CUCINELLI BCU.MI
The Italian luxury fashion group reported on Thursday that it posted an H1 net profit of 76.7 million euros ($89.79 million) and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 113.8 million.
