Petrobras produces, sells first CORSIA-certified soybean SAF batch SAO PAULO, June 17 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR3.SA said on Wednesday it has produced and sold its first batch of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) made from soybean oil sourced from Bunge BG.N and certified under the CORSIA low ILUC risk standard, in what it said was a global first.
The 3,800 cubic meter batch was produced at the Duque de Caxias refinery in Rio de Janeiro using co-processing technology, with 1% renewable content, and distributed by Vibra VBBR3.SA, it said.
