Burberry Group plc (the "Company") - Director/PDMR Shareholdings
 
The Company received notification on 13 August 2021 that Marco Gobbetti, a director and person discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMR"), exercised nil cost options over 53,829 ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each ("Shares") granted to him on 30 January 2017 under the Company's Executive Share Plan 2014 ("ESP"), 4,744 Shares granted to him on 31 July 2018 under the ESP and 34,696 Shares granted to him as an exceptional award on 8 February 2018 (the "Exceptional Award" and together the "Exercises"). As announced by the Company on 9 February 2018, the Exceptional Award was granted as part of the buy-out of incentives forfeited by Mr Gobbetti on leaving his previous employer, as agreed by the Remuneration Committee and announced by the Company on 11 July 2016. 
 
Following the Exercises, and on the same day, Marco subsequently sold 16,371 of the newly acquired Shares, at a price of £21.342553 per Share and 27,628 of the newly acquired Shares at a price of £21.283218 per Share, to fund the tax and fees arising from the Exercises, as set out below.
