Transaction in own shares

 

Burberry Group plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the
following number of its ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each through J.P. Morgan
Securities plc on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading
Facilities in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the
Company's Annual General Meeting on 14 July 2021 (the "Purchase"). The
Purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Burberry on 3
December 2021, as announced on 3 December 2021.

 Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased:  1,520

 Lowest price paid per share:                    1,720.5000

 Highest price paid per share:                   1,725.0000

 Average price paid per share:                   1,722.9543

 

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

 

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 5,308,210 of its ordinary
shares in treasury and has 399,714,878 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares).

 

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be
399,714,878 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator
when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance
and Transparency Rules.
