Swiss stocks - Factors to watch on September 2

ZURICH/BERLIN, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:
SIX

on the Swiss stock exchange reached 84.6 billion Swiss francs
in August, 4.3% less than in the previous month, while the
number of transactions decreased by 5.4% to 4.3 million. Since
the beginning of 2021, trading turnover fell 29.8% to 867.7
billion francs. Transactions fell 39.1% to 42.6 million
transactions.
COMPANY STATEMENTS
* Burckhardt Compression BCHN.S said it planned to hire a
new CEO in early 2022, while current Chief Executive Marcel
Pawlicek planned to transition out of the role after ten years
and ask shareholders for a spot on the company's board of
directors.
* SenioResidenz AG SENIO.BN : EGM approves capital increase
via issue of up to 638,868 new shares; issue price set at 52.00
francs per registered share; three existing shares confer the
rights to one new share
* Polyphor POLN.S : the group and Enbiotix announced the
signing of a merger agreement and the sale of inhaled
Murepavadin. Enbiotix would acquire inhaled Murepavadin at an
agreed valuation of $10 million in exchange for 2.6 million of
common shares of Enbiotix.
ECONOMY
Swiss August consumer prices due at 0630 GMT. Seen +0.1%
m/m, +0.8% y/y.
Swiss Q2 GDP due at 0700 GMT. Seen +2.0% q/q, +9.0% y/y.
Swiss July retail sales due at 0630 GMT.
