March 31 (Reuters) - Italian cement maker Buzzi BZU.MI said on Tuesday it expected 2026 recurring core earnings to contract slightly compared to last year, warning that rising energy prices could lead to higher operating costs.
Buzzi's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation fell 3.1% to about 1.24 billion euros ($1.42 billion) in 2025, but beat analysts' consensus forecast thanks to its expansion in the Middle East and Austria.
Buzzi proposed a dividend of 0.70 euro per share
Full-year sales grew 4.8%, slightly beating market expectations
It proposed a share buyback of up to 300 million euros
Net financial position at end-December was 1.13 billion euros
