C4 Therapeutics up on promising data from blood cancer therapy study

** Shares of drug developer C4 Therapeutics CCCC.O rise
26.9% to $2.97 before the bell
** Company said late on Tuesday its experimental therapy,
CFT7455, to treat a type of blood cancer was well tolerated and
showed promising signs of anti-myeloma activity in phase 1
portion of its early-to-mid stage study
** Data from phase 1 portion of study included results from
CFT7455 being administered as a monotherapy and interim results
from CCCC's experimental therapy being used in combination with
steroid, dexamethasone
** Complete phase 1 dose escalation data expected in 2024
** Up to Tuesday's close, stock down ~60% YTD
