4.92% to $33.23 
    ** Co considers strategic options as rival cos show interest
in takeover, Bloomberg News reports
    ** Callon has a total acreage of about 145,000 net acres in
the Delaware and Midland Basins, part of the prolific Permian
basin 
    ** Up to last close, co's market cap was about $2.15 bln-
LSEG 
    ** Callon had previously added Permian assets to its
portfolio with the acquisition of Percussion Petroleum Operating
II Llc in May this year
    ** Including session's gains, CPE stock down 10.56% YTD
