oil prices
    ** Brent crude  LCOc1  down 1.2% and U.S. West Texas
Intermediate (WTI) crude  CLc1  drops 1.1% as traders warily
watched for signs of progress on talks to raise the U.S. debt
ceiling  O/R 
    ** Oil majors Chevron Corp  CVX.N  and ExxonMobil Corp
 XOM.N  slip 1.1% and 0.1%, respectively
    ** Oil producers Chesapeake Energy Corp  CHK.O , Devon
Energy Corp  DVN.N , SM Energy Co  SM.N , Callon Petroleum Co
 CPE.N  and Ovintiv Inc  OVV.N  fall between 0.2% and 1.3%
    ** Oilfield services firms Patterson-UTI Energy Inc
 PTEN.O , Halliburton Co  HAL.N , Baker Hughes Co  BKR.O  and
SLB  SLB.N  ease between 0.7% and 1.8%
    ** Refiners PBF Energy Inc  PBF.N , Phillips 66  PSX.N ,
