crude prices  O/R 
    ** Brent crude  LCOc1  up 0.8% at $78.18/bbl and U.S. West
Texas Intermediate crude  CLc1  up 1.1% at $72.95/bbl, as U.S.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken prepares to visit the Middle
East in an attempt to prevent the Israel-Hamas conflict from
widening
    ** Energy majors Chevron  CVX.N  and Exxon Mobil  XOM.N  up
0.4% and 0.3%, respectively
    ** Devon Energy  DVN.N , Occidental Petroleum  OXY.N ,
Callon Petroleum  CPE.N , Permian Resources  PR.N  and CNX
Resources  CNX.N  rise between 0.5% and 2.5%
    ** Oilfield services firms SLB  SLB.N , Baker Hughes  BKR.O 
and Halliburton  HAL.N  up between 0.3% and 0.7%
