** Shares of uranium-linked stocks rise premarket after tech majors Amazon.com AMZN.O, Alphabet's GOOGL.O Google and shale firm Occidental OXY.N sign pledge to boost nuclear energy capacity

** On the sidelines of the CERAWeek conference in Houston, companies support the goal of at least tripling nuclear energy capacity by 2050

** Shares of Uranium Energy UEC.A up 1.8%; U.S.-listed shares of Uranium Royalty UROY.O and Cameco CCJ.N both rise 1.2%

** Global X Uranium ETF URA.P gains 1%

** Nuclear utilities Constellation Energy CEG.O rises 2.7%, Vistra VST.N adds 2.2% and Talen Energy TLN.O up 1.6%
