U.S. stock index futures rose on Monday as the latest trade talks between the
United States and China began in Beijing, while U.S. lawmakers attempted to
hammer out a deal to avoid another government shutdown.  .N 
    At 7:40 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.29 percent at 25,154. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.30 percent at 2,714.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1 
were up 0.40 percent at 6,944.5.
