** Shares of the luxury parka maker Canada Goose  GOOS.TO ,
 GOOS.N  jump as much as 7.2% to $16.19, recovering from
previous day's losses
    ** Stock set for its best session since May 2020
    ** GOOS fell 6.7% on Tuesday after announcing it would trim
about 17% of its global corporate workforce as part of
cost-cutting efforts
    ** U.S. demand for high-end goods remains pressured, hurting
co's revenues
    ** GOOS stock snaps three straight sessions of declines
    ** Stock fell 35% in 2023
