    - Globalive Capital Inc founder and chairman Anthony
Lacavera is leading a bid to acquire Wealth One Bank of Canada,
a Toronto-based financial institution that is subject to
extraordinary national security conditions imposed by the
federal Finance Minister.
    
    - Canada Nickel Company Inc  CNC.V  announced plans to build
two large processing facilities near Timmins, Ontario, whose
output would be directed partly to North America's rapidly
growing market for electric vehicles.
    
    - Canada's Ontario city mayor Neil Ellis urged Ottawa and
the provincial government to provide assistance to nearly two
dozen people who were overdosed in the city that declared a
