U.S. stock index futures pared gains on Thursday after a hotter-than-expected
consumer inflation reading deepened worries about the Federal Reserve keeping
monetary policy restrictive for a prolonged period.  .N 
    
    At 9:01 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.19% at 34,055. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.14% at 4,415.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.10%
at 15,395.
