DATA
The central bank will release FX reserves for July at 1200
GMT.
DEFENSE
During President Andrzej Duda visit in Australia later in
August Poland may sign a letter of intent to buy two warships --
HMAS Melbourne and HMAS Newcastle as well as one out of use
frigate for around 2 billion zlotys, Rzeczpospolita daily said
quoting unnamed sources.
COAL
Poland's biggest coal producer PGG does not expect coal
prices for its contractors to rise significantly next year,
Parkiet quoted PGG CEO as saying.
The CEO also said that increased coal imports from Russia
are the result of booming economy and help PGG keep its coal
stockpiles low.
GETBACK GBK.WA
There are at least eight investors from Poland and abroad
interested in taking over the troubled debt collector GetBack,
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily quoted GetBack CEO as saying.
