Poland's statistics office to release trade balance data at
0900.
DEBT
The finance ministry will announce bond supply for its
Friday auction at 1400.
JUDGES
Poland is considering introducing laws to stop judges
engaging in politics or challenging the government, Prime
Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told Gazeta Polska weekly.
STATE-OWNED COMPANIES
Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister For State Assets
Jacek Sasin is optimistic that the merger between Polish oil
companies PKN Orlen PKN.WA and Grupa Lotos LTSP.WA will be
approved by the European Commission and he hopes that this will
not be the end of consolidation in the energy sector, he told
Gazeta Polska weekly. He also said that there will not be major
changes in the management of state-owned firms.
ENVIRONMENT
Poland does not want to create an enviromental model where
production which creates emissions is shifted outside the
European Union, Climate Minister Michal Kurtyka told Gazeta
Polska weekly.
PGNiG
Poland's leading gas firm, state-run PGNiG PGN.WA is going
to invest 100 million zlotys in start-ups, Lukasz Kroplewski,
deputy chief excutive in charge of development, told Puls
Biznesu daily.
GetBack
Poland's Supreme Audit Office said that the Warsaw stock
exchange failed to report suspicions of manipulation of the
share price of the company EGB Investments, which was bought by
GetBack GBK.WA for around 208 million zlotys in 2017.
