India's Caplin Point Labs up after Q2 profit jump

** Shares of Caplin Point Laboratories  CAPL.NS  up as much
as 3.7% to 1,137.90 rupees 
    ** Co says Q2 profit jumps 26% to 1.16 bln rupees ($13.93
mln), while revenue from operations climbs 14.2%, outpacing a
7.4% rise in total expenses  
    ** Q2 gross margin is 60%, up from 53.9% year ago, helped by
new product launches 
    ** More than 168,800 shares trade by 1:06 p.m. IST, 2.1x
their 30-day avg
    ** Stock last up 2%; including session's gains, up ~54% YTD
vs 23% rise in Nifty pharma  NIPT.NS  index
