** Capricor Therapeutics' CAPR.O shares gain 3.3% to $10.2 in premarket trading
** Piper Sandler upgrades to "overweight" from "neutral"; raises PT to $25 from $2, which is an upside of 152.3% to stock's last close
** Says the downside risk vs the upside reward on "potential approval" for co's experimental cell therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, deramiocel, "still favors owning CAPR shares into the extended 11/22 PDUFA date"
** In August, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had extended the review period for the therapy by three months 
** Up to last close, stock down 65.6% YTD
