Cardiff Oncology jumps on new colorectal cancer therapy data

** Biotech co's shares  CRDF.O  rise 16.5% to $8.21
premarket; set to open at more than 2-month high if gains hold 
    ** CRDF shares trading 33.5% above their 50-day moving avg
price
    ** Co on Wednesday after market reported new data from its
early-to-mid stage study testing its drug candidate,
onvansertib, administered with  standard-of-care therapy for
colorectal cancer patients with a genetic mutation  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nPn9CDMSPa
    ** Eight of 19, or 42% of patients treated with the drug 
achieved a cancer reduction vs historical rates of 5%-13%
reported in a similar patient population treated with standard
of care chemotherapy - Co
    ** Says the combination therapy was well-tolerated, with
only 10% or 49 of 490 treatment-emergent adverse events being
severe
    ** CRDF had fallen 60.8% YTD up to the last close
