       Sept 13 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on
Wednesday:

        ** Norwegian media group Schibsted  SCHA.OL  said it has
bought a 10.1% stake in Sweden's Viaplay  VPLAYb.ST , sending
shares in the troubled Swedish media company up nearly 5% by

        ** Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Ltd  BDYN.NS 
will sell a land parcel in Mumbai for about 52 billion rupees
($626.62 million) to a unit of Japan's Sumitomo Realty and
Development Co, the retail and textiles company said.

        ** MSC, the world's biggest container shipping company,
has offered to buy almost half of the main operator of Hamburg
port in a deal that could be worth nearly 1.3 billion euros
($1.4 billion), setting the stage for a potential bidding war.

        ** Australia's Macquarie  MQG.AX  and Malaysian hospital
chain Columbia Asia are among the bidders for the acquisition of
a healthcare joint venture between Ramsay Health Care and Sime
Darby, according to sources familiar with the matter.

    ** German logistics billionaire Klaus-Michael Kuehne is
considering a bid for port operator HHLA  HHFGn.DE , German
newspaper FAZ reported after shipping giant MSC announced its
own offer for the company.

    ** Aviva  AV.L  is quitting its Singlife joint venture,
selling its 25.9% stake in Singapore Life Holdings and two debt
instruments to Sumitomo Life for a combined 800 million pounds
($997 million), the British insurer said.

    ** Irish construction company Kingspan  KSP.I  confirmed
media reports that it had recent, informal discussions about a
tie-up with rival Carlisle Companies  CSL.N , but that there was
currently no active engagement between the companies.
