** The automotive and powersports retailer posts Q3 adj. EPS of $1.41 vs analysts' estimate of $1.73, according to data compiled by LSEG

** SAH reports Q3 revenue of $3.93 bln, compared to estimates of $3.60 bln

** Other auto and parts retailers also fall on auto sector woes

** Shares of peer CarMax KMX.N down 2.8%, Group 1 Automotive GPI.N falls 4%, AutoNation down 2.5%, Carvana CVNA.N slips nearly 1%

** Subprime lender PrimaLend Capital Partners filed for bankruptcy protection on Wednesday, adding to signs of stress in the credit markets after similar filings by auto lender Tricolor Holdings and First Brands in September

     ** Including session's moves, shares up 6% YTD
