Wall Street's main indexes tumbled on Friday, on course for their worst weekly
performance of the year, as data signaling strong consumer spending and
inflation sparked worries that the Federal Reserve will stick to its hawkish
stance for longer. .N
At 13:39 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.25% at
32,739.11. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.39% at 3,956.53 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 2.01% at 11,356.931.
