SAO PAULO, Dec 18 (Reuters) - French retailer Casino
CASP.PA has not spoken with Brazilian investor Nelson Tanure
over potentially selling him shares it owns in Brazilian
supermarket operator GPA PCAR3.SA , according to a GPA
securities filing released on Wednesday.
Casino is a GPA shareholder, and GPA said it asked the
French firm about potential talks with Tanure.
Reuters reported on Monday, citing a source, that Tanure has
initiated preliminary discussions with Casino about buying at
least part of its shares in GPA.
