SAO PAULO, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Brazil retailer GPA
PCAR3.SA said on Tuesday it does not have information
regarding Brazilian investor Nelson Tanure's stake in the
company, according to a securities filing.
Reuters reported on Monday, citing a source, that Tanure has
initiated preliminary discussions with French retailer Casino
CASP.PA about buying at least part of its shares in GPA.
The source also indicated that funds allied to Tanure have
amassed a stake in GPA in the market in recent days.
