** Packaging firm's shares  CCLb.TO  rise 5.8% to C$58.75,
making them among the top gainers in the TSX
    ** Co posts Q3 net earnings of C$153.3 mln vs $127.7 mln a

    ** Q3 adjusted earnings per share of C$0.93 beat estimates
of C$0.68 per share - Refinitiv IBES
    ** Reports Q3 sales of C$1.37 bln, exceeding estimates of
C$1.33 bln on the back of higher demand
    ** Says sales at its home and personal care business rose,
especially in the United States, helped by strong demand for
skin sanitizers and cleansers
    ** Co lowers its projected 2020 capital spending plan to
~C$290 mln, from C$350 mln 
     ** Stock up 6% YTD
