The Dow was set to open lower on Thursday after Cisco shares fell on slowing
demand for its products, clouding Walmart's strong annual forecast and optimism
over a potential deal to avoid a catastrophic debt default.  .N 
    
    At 9:05 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.35% at 33,362. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.19% at 4,163.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
down 0.02% at 13,641.
